PROBLEM SOLVINGXI
NOTE: Keep Superstrips in their boxes until ready
to use. Folded or bent strips can cause problems in
the binder.
If an error condition occurs, first turn the Power Switch
to Off, then open the machine. Inspect it for cleanliness,
a jammed strip, or foreign matter that may have become
lodged inside.
Check that the machine is clean and free of foreign
material or a jammed strip. Close the cover, and turn
the machine back On. If the error condition persists,
call your authorized Fastback® representative.

Machine doesn’t work • No A.C. Power
• Fuse blown
• Power switch off
• Check power cable
• Replace fuse
• Press ‘I’ on switch
Machine is on, but no message
appears
• Program error •Turn power off, then
back on
Can’t insert strip • Clamp not closed
• Wrong strip width
• Press BIND button
• Use displayed width strip
Book not bound, and no strip
present
• Strip fed with wrong
side up
• Twisted or damaged
( “strip jammed”)
• Insert strip adhesive
side up
• Check inside for jammed
strip (note Clear Jam
animation).
Strip not aligned with end of
pages
• Wrong strip length
• Damaged strip
• Strip end needs
adjustment
• Check if strip matches
book length.
• Try again with a new strip
• Adjust in Strip End setting
Strip extremely askew, or only
partially bound to book
• Damaged strip
• Adhesive on binding surfaces
• Try another strip
• Clean binding surface
